Bible Studies

Below are a few topics in the bible people won't hear very often spoken about in the church. Here at WWFM, we like to talk about truth and all that the bible speaks about. If it's in God's Word, then it is something that needs to be taught and shared. We hope you enjoy the various topics spoken about here.

Is Hell Real?

We have all heard about hell all of our lives. But is it real, or just something we say? Let's take a look briefly in the bible and see what we can learn.

Hell is in the earth, it's excited for people to come there, and many of past times are there now. Kings, leaders and very earthy prominent people are sent to hell forever. ( Isaiah 14:9 ) People who are not loving and call people fools and misuse others are in danger of hell fire. ( Matthew 5:22 ) What we do with ourselves, hands, eyes, etc, will decide where we choose to go. It's better to lose part of our bodies than to be totally cast into hell. ( Matthew 18:9 ) Lust towards a woman or a man, is the way to hell if not dealt with and corrected. We must not lust in our hearts for another, it is sin and hell fire.    ( Proverbs Chapter 7 ) These are but a few of many scriptures in the bible about hell. Jesus spoke about hell more than any other.

Salvation

The word salvation in the original Greek means - to be saved, delivered and healed. ( sozo ) So when a person asks the Lord Jesus Christ into his life, not only are his sins and past forgiven him, but he also has access to healing and liberty in Christ also. Just as a baby when he or she is born into this world and is innocent and without blemish, so is the person who becomes born again in Christ Jesus.

Who is able to receive this salvation that the bible talks about? Well it's for every man, woman, and child on this earth. ( John 3:16 )

When is a good time for salvation? Well according to the bible, NOW is the time for salvation. ( 2 Corinthians 6:2 ) You see many people seek salvation because they are afraid to go to hell, or want to fool others into thinking they are born again. But true salvation is a covenant between that person and God. Someone who is truly saved, usually walks in that salvation which includes, healing and liberty in Christ as well.
